Things are about to get exciting
Greetings from Germany!
I’m still fighting jet lag, but I’m excited to be here and I managed to make the most of my twenty hours of air travel by making good progress on my Lady Clues Christmas short story. I’m hoping to share that with you next week, so stay tuned.
I’ve also been working on Lady Marigold book two and I’m having so much fun with it. I’ll be looking for beta readers in 2023 and will let you know in the coming weeks how to reach out if you’d like to read an early copy of book two and provide feedback on the story.
When I landed in Germany, I was over the moon to discover A Roaring Murder had reached a big milestone—150 ratings on Amazon. If you’re one of the lovely 150 who rated or reviewed the book, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
No recommendations this week, as just staying awake long enough to type this is a bit of a struggle after a long day of sightseeing in Köln and sampling the delights of the wonderful Christmas markets.
I’ll be back to normal next week (hopefully) but in the meantime, here’s some highlights from my travels so far.
We flew from Sydney to Toyko with Japan Airlines and had a one-night stopover.
The next day our Christmas market tour kicked off in Köln, Germany.
There will be lots more book news and travel stories to come next week, including the one about the extremely grumpy immigration officer in Frankfurt who could give Inspector Loxley a run for his money and our first experience driving on the autobarn!!
Until then, may all the books you read be great ones.
