Designing Lady Marigold

I’ve started getting questions about the beautiful artwork on the cover of A Roaring Murder.

My cover artist is homegrown—my daughter, Delaney—who is about to finish her Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication).

I can’t tell you how exciting it is to have her working with me as I launch my author business.

I get the benefit of her wonderful designs while also helping to build her portfolio.

There might be a slight family discount, but we’re keeping it business like with her issuing me invoices for her services. It’s good practice for her and for me.

Running a creative business is a challenge for the both of us, but it’s also a dream come true.

Yesterday she finished the artwork for book two of Lady Marigold’s 1920s Murder Mysteries and I couldn’t wait to get the pre-order live to show it off.

If you’d like to find out more about Delaney and the design and illustration services she offers, visit her website at http://delaneyisabel.com

Only 13 days until A Roaring Murder is live! Pre-orders have been beyond my expectations, so if you’ve ordered a copy, thank you so much 🙂
